The Stone Store

The Stone Store is New  Zealand’s oldest surviving stone building.  It was built in 1832-36 as a storehouse for the Mission.  The Stone Store traded in Kauri Gum from the 1850s until the peak years for the gum trade in the 1890s and early 1900s.  It is now operated by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, which continues to operate it as a store.

Rainbow Falls and River Track

Rainbow Falls is a pretty waterfall on the Kerikeri River at the end of the Kerikeri River Track, which also passes by the Wharepuke Falls and the Fairy Pools.  The walk of about 4 km starts at the Reserve at the end of Landing Road and takes you through glades of New Zealand native bush alongside the River to the Falls.

You can also access the Falls from the end of Rainbow Falls Road with a 2 minute walk.

The Club is only minutes from Kerikeri’s boutique shops and Rewa’s Village, an authentic Maori village reproduction. They provide entertainment for the non-golfing members of the family.   Beautiful Doves Bay Marina provides access to the Bay of Islands for the boating and fishing enthusiast, if you are planning a stay in the Kerikeri area.
